Profile
Professor Ming Liu has educational backgrounds in China and U.S., and has extensive teaching experiences in Japanese universities. He also worked in a financial software company in the U.S. and had one year of experience in an investment firm in China. He is a CFA® charterholder. Beyond finance courses, Dr. Liu also teaches Economics for Sustainable Development and Japanese Economics and Business. He is happy to share his experiences with students and help them to develop critical thinking skills.
Research
Professor Ming Liu’s main research interests include investment, mutual funds and behavioral finance. His research papers have been published in the Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Review, Journal of Experimental and Behavioral Finance, and Journal of Economics and Business. He received a research paper award in the Financial Management Association (FMA) Asia Pacific Conference in 2014. His research work has appeared on London School of Economics Business Review.
