iCLA has joined the Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities (AALAU), a network of major liberal arts universities in Asia.
The Alliance of Asian Liberal Arts Universities (AALAU)’s vision is:
- To address the major challenges of liberal arts education in Asia
- To provide opportunities to student and staff that would not arise otherwise
- To implement collaboration and achieve synergy
As a liberal arts college, iCLA is committed to a broad education that is both interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary. The iCLA curriculum is one that spans from embodied knowledge and aesthetic courses in dance, music, and performing arts to those that emphasize the abstract or quantitative, such as mathematics, and data science.
Students experience the entire range of the iCLA curriculum during their undergraduate degree, and in their final year, complete a Graduation Research Project that demonstrate their learnings in the connectivity of knowledge across disciplines.
Students remain at the heart of iCLA’s innovative initiatives and iCLA seeks to prepare students to live a more informed life in the modern world through its liberal arts curriculum.
